1. General Information & Installation

1.1 Introduction

MOTOCOM's niche Review Based Business is a complete system for reviewing products and services so users can have feedback about the product/service they wish to purchase. You are able to create as many reviews as you want and to make grades for as many criteria as you like.

Once you publish the reviews users are able to give their feedback separately and to rate product/service by the same criteria you have used. It is a powerful review theme that allows you to create extensive reviews for any kind of content including Movies, Products, Stores, Automobiles, Apps, and many more. Each review item has its own centralized hub page with tabbed navigation. It is a fully responsive, clean, and modern designed website. With this niche You can pin your best reviews so that they are always shown first, require approval before new review submissions are published, and much more.

1.2 How To Set Up Review Based Website

This section contains the description of the plugin installation and brief description of the plugins used in Review Based Business Website niche.

1.2.1 Plugin Installation

After getting succesfully authenticated and downloading the theme the next important step is to install the plugins of the required niche.

Follow the below mentioned steps for the plugin installation.

Navigate > > Dashboard > > Settings.
Navigate > > Plugin Screen.
On plugin screen install the plugin of the Review Based Business Website niche.

The MOTOCOM's niche Review Based Business Website includes the Site Reviews and MOTOCOM Review plugin which allows your visitors to submit reviews with a 1-5 star rating on your website.

Site Reviews - Receive and display reviews on your website. It is an elegant, feature-rich, and completely FREE review management system for your website.
MOTOCOM Review - It is an Addon plugin for for Site Reviews.

2. Site Reviews

Site Reviews panel comes with the Site Reviews Plugin which have so many settings that are easy to customize and self-explanatory. With these settings, you can manage tools, addons, add new categories and many more.

Navigate to Dashboard >> Site Reviews

2.1 Reviews

In this setting, you can see all the reviews and ratings.

2.2 Categories

With this setting, you can see all the categories and can also add a new category.

Add New Category

Name - Enter the name of the category here. he name is how it appears on your site.
Slug - The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Parent Category - Assign a parent term to create a hierarchy. The term Jazz, for example, would be the parent of Bebop and Big Band.
Description - Enter the description of the category. The description is not prominent by default; however, some themes may show it.
Add New Category - Hit the button to add new category.

2.3 Settings

The settings tab contains sub-tabs which has settings that are easy to customize.

2.3.1 General

General Settings

Delete data on uninstall - Select what to be deleted when you uninstall the plugin.
Plugin Style - Select the plugin style.
Require Approval - You can enable/disable the approval requirement.
Require Login - You can enable/disable the login requirement.
Multilingual - Select the mode to integrate multilingual option.
Notifications - Select the mode how to send notification.

2.3.2 Reviews

Reviews Settings

Date Format - Select the date format.
Name Format - Select the name format which will display on the website.
Review Assignment - Select the type of the review assignment.
Enable Assigned Links - You can enable/disable the assigned links with this setting.
Enable Avatars - Enable/disable the avatars on the website.
Enable Excerpts - Enable/disable the excerpts.
Excerpt Action - Select the required excerpt action.
Excerpt Length - Select the excerpt words length.
Enable Fallback Text - Enable/disable fallback text.
Enable Paginated URLs - Enable/disable the paginated URLs.

2.3.3 Submissions

Review Form Settings

Required Fields - Select which field should be required in the review form.
Limit Reviews - Limit the number of reviews that can be submitted to one per person.
Invisible reCAPTCHA - Select the mode whether you want to enable ReCaptcha or not.
Enable Akismet - You can enable/disable the Askimet plugin with this setting.
Blacklist - Choose which blacklist you would prefer to be used for reviews.
Blacklist Action - Choose the action to be taken when the review is blacklisted.

2.3.4 Schema

The (JSON-LD) schema is disabled by default. To enable it, use the schema option in your blocks or shortcodes. The schema is used to display rich review snippets in Google's search results. If the schema has been enabled, you can use the Google Rich Results tool to test your pages for valid schema.

JSON-LD Schema Settings

Default Schema Type - Select the default schema type.
Default Name - You can use a current page title or can also add custom title for the schema .
Default Description - You can use a current page excerpt or can also add custom description for the schema.
Default URL - You can use a current page URL or can also add custom URL for the schema.
Default Image - You can use a featured image of the current page or can also enter custom image URL.
Address - Enter the address details here.
Telephone Number - Enter the contact number here.
Price Range - Enter the price range here.

2.3.5 Translation

Translation Settings

Site Reviews provides an easy way to customise or translate any text of the plugin. Simply search for the text you would like to change and replace with your own. However, if you have a multilingual website you should use the Loco Translate plugin instead.

2.4 Tools

This section contains the settings to import plugin settings and third party reviews, export plugin settings, migrate plugin, optimise database tables and many more.

3. Review Based Website Shortcodes

In these section you will learn and get information about the Shortcodes used for Review Based Website niche of MOTOCOM theme.

3.1 Review Based Website Shortcode

These are the basic shortcodes which comes with the niche.

3.1.1 Site Reviews

This shortcode dispalys your most recently submitted reviews.

Site Reviews Settings

Assigned To - Option to limit reviews to those assigned to specific posts, pages, or other public post types. Accepted values are a WordPress Post ID.
Post Type ID - Enter post ID here. You can use multiple ids seperated by comma.
Number Of Reviews - Enter the number of reviews which you want to display. Enter numeric value here.
Pagination - The ajax value allows you to load the next page of reviews without loading a new page..
Rating - Enter the number between 1-5 here. Include the rating option to set the minimum star-rating of reviews to display. By default, the shortcode displays all 1-5 star reviews.
Schema - You can include the schema option to enable the aggregate rating and review schema for your reviews in Google by selecting the checkbox.
Hide - Select what you want to hide from the reviews.

3.1.2 Site Reviews Summary

This shortcode displays the summary of your reviews.

Assigned To - Option to limit reviews to those assigned to specific posts, pages, or other public post types. Accepted values are a WordPress Post ID.

Rating - Enter the number between 1-5 here. Include the rating option to set the minimum star-rating of reviews to display. By default, the shortcode displays all 1-5 star reviews.
Schema - You can include the schema option to enable the aggregate rating and review schema for your reviews in Google by selecting the checkbox.
Hide - Select what you want to hide from the review summary.

3.1.3 Site Reviews Form

Use this shortcode to display a review form.

Site Reviews Form Settings

Hide - Select what you want to hide from the review form.
Form Horizontal - To display the review form horizontally select the checkbox.

3.1.4 Posts With Rating

This shortcode display the blog posts with rating .

General Settings

Number Of Posts - Enter the number of posts that you want to display.
Column - Select the number of columns.
Categories - Select the category of the posts that you want to display.
Order By - Select the orderby to arrange the display order of posts. We have provided four option for this: ID, Title, Date and Random.
Sort Order - You can sort the posts either in Ascending or Descending order .

Slider Settings

Slider - To enable the slider select the checkbox.
Navigation - Using this option you can select the navigation type from the given five options (None, Arrows, Bullets, Fraction and Progress Bar) and you will get the options accordingly.
Autoplay - To enable the Autoplay option select the checkbox.
Autoplay Speed - You can adjust the speed of the autoplay. Speed will be in miliseconds like 1000 = 1s.
Loop - To enable the loop in the slider select the checkbox.

4. Widgets

Recent Reviews - Display your recent reviews.
Recent Comments - It will dispaly your site’s most recent comments.
Submit A Review - Display a form to submit reviews.
Summary Of Reviews - Display a summary of your reviews.
