1. General Information & Installation

1.1 Introduction

MOTOCOM's niche Real Estate is a clean, Modern Real Estate website. Find Houses is best suited for Real Estate Agency, Agents companies, property, rural, rental, commercial, apartments, and many more. This is a business website that is helpful for online presence for Corporate Business and Real Estate Firms. The whole website is made with excellent responsiveness. It has a stylish UI and lots of features related to this particular industry, including- property listings (grid & list view), advanced property filter and search, properties map (built using Google maps API), Agents profile page (with submitting new property & properties Details), different styles of individual property pages and much more. It contains various functionality with you can configure a real estate website in minutes.

1.2 How To Set Up Real Etsate Business

This section contains the description of the plugin installation and breif description of the plugins

1.2.1 Plugin Installation

After getting succesfully authenticated and downloading the theme the next important step is to install the plugins of the required niche.

Follow the below mentioned steps for the plugin installation.

  • Navigate > > Dashboard > > Settings.
  • Navigate > > Plugin Screen.
  • On plugin screen install the plugin of the niche Real Estate.
1.2.2 Plugin Description

The MOTOCOM's niche Real Estate includes the two basic plugins Easy Property Listings and MOTOCOM Real Estate which can enable a user to develop the website for their business in a simplified manner. Both plugins contain all those functions which are essential for building a real estate website. It contains infinite options that can be used if you do not have any coding knowledge. You have to just select and save the options.

2. Easy Property Listings

Easy property Listings contains settings that needs to be once you activated the plugin and want to Realestate based buisness .

In this section you will get the knowledge of each of the settings

Navigate to Dashboard > Easy Property Listing > Settings

2.1 Listing Types and Location Taxonomy

Listing Types and Location Taxonomy

  • Listing Types to Enable - You can select the listing type you want to feature on your website. If they are not visible on the front end visit Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and press Save Changes.
  • Location Taxonomy - Here you can add the location label which appears as a name of your taxonomy for your listings.

2.2 Address

Using this user can adjust the address label according to the need.

Address

  • Suburb/Town/City Label - Enter the details that suits to your region.
  • Additional Address Field - You can enable/disable the additional address field.
  • Additional Address Field Label - Enter the additional address field label here.
  • State/Province/Region Label - Enter the label that suits to your region.
  • Postcode/ZIP Label - Enter the label for Postcode/ ZIP code.
  • Display Country - Enable the setting if you want to show the country.
  • Default Country - Select the default country. This is used for map when listing has no address details.

2.3 Labels

Using this settings can customize the label on the single listing page.

  • New/Just Listed Label - Enter a label which will appear on listing image by default.
  • Keep Listings flagged "New" for - Enter the number of days you want the New sticker to appear on the listing.
  • Home Open Label - This label will display above the Open for Inspection times on your listings.
  • No Price Label - This label is for that property that is marked with a hidden price.
  • Under Offer Label - You can change the label for those listing which are marked as Under Offer.
  • Sold Label - This label appears for those listing which are marked as a Sold.
  • Leased Label - This label appears for those Rental listing which are marked as a Leased.
  • Rental Bond/Deposit Label - Bond is the tenants up-front payment required before starting a lease, often this is four weeks rent.
  • Rental Bond/Deposit Display - You can enable/disable the bond display which will appear after the rental amount.

2.4 Listing Single View

With this setting you can configure the options related to the single listing.

  • Automatically display image gallery? - Enable/disable the automatic image gallery display.
  • Gallery columns? - You can also adjust the number of gallery columns according to the need.
  • Feature list columns? - Select the number of columns of features for property listing.
  • Video width on single listings - You can select the width of video on single listing according to the need. The width will be in pixels.

2.5 Listing Archive View

With this setting you can configure the default options for when viewing the archive listing pages.

  • Excerpt words - Select the number of words that can be displayed on the listing page.
  • Listing view type - Select the "Grid" or "List" mode as a view type of listing.
  • Fancy pagination - Select the style for pagination.

2.6 Search Widget : Tab Labels

With this setting you can customize the tab labels of the search widget.

  • All - Enter the label for all listing.
  • Property - Enter the label for property listing as needed.
  • Land - Enter the label for land listings.
  • Rental - Enter the label for rental property listing.
  • Rural - Enter the label for rural listings.
  • Commercial - Enter the label for commercial property listings.
  • Commercial Land - Enter the label for commercial land listings.
  • Business - Enter the label for business listings.

2.7 Dashboard Listing Column

Use the following settings to change how the Dashboard > > Property or any listing of the types you have enabled display.

  • Graph Max - Set the range for the graph page which display on listing for sale.
  • Graph Rental Max - Set the range for the listing for rent price graph. .
  • Image size - Select the image size which appears in listing column in admin area.
  • Unique Listing ID column - Enable/diable the unique ID column.
  • Geocode Lat/Long results column - Enable/disable the latitude/longitude coordinates.

2.8 Theme Setup

The following settings will use your theme templates to generate your listing pages.

  • Theme Compatibility - Enable the option if your listings appear too wide or your sidebar is in the wrong place.

2.10 Currency, Inspection Date & Time Format

Using this setting you can select the default currency and can also control the view of inspection date and time.

Currency Settings

  • Currency Type - Select the currency type from here.
  • Symbol Position - Select the currency symbol position.
  • Thousands Separator - Adjust the thousands seperator .
  • Decimal Separator - Adjust the decimal seperator.

Inspection Date & Time Format Settings

  • Date Format - Select the suitable date format.
  • Custom Date Format - You can add the custom date format.
  • Time Format - Select the suitable time format.
  • Custom Time Format - You can add the custom time format.

2.11 Contacts & Reports Settings

With these settings you can allow access to the Contacts system & Reports system for logged in users.

Contact Settings

  • Contact Access Level - Select any option according to the need.

    • Access your contacts from Dashboard > Easy Property Listings > Contacts.

Report Settings

  • Report Access Level - Select any option according to the need.

    • Access your reports from Dashboard > Easy Property Listings > Reports.

2.12 Advanced Settings

Using this setting you can control the workflow of the Easy Property Listing.

  • Disable Styles - Select the checkbox to disable all the elements.
  • Legacy Styles - Select the checkbox to enable legacy CSS style.
  • Enhanced Styles - Check this to enable enhanced structural css style.
  • SVG Icons for Listings - To enable the SVG icons for listings select the checkbox.
  • SVG Icons for Author Social Links - To enable the SVG icons for Author Social Links select the checkbox.
  • Google Maps API - Disable the setting if Google Maps API has already been loaded in your theme or other plugin.
  • Google Maps API key - Enter the Google Maps API key here.
  • Mode - Select the suitable mode .
  • Remove Data on Uninstall? - Select Enable if you would like EPL to completely remove all of its data when the plugin is deleted.

2.13 Contacts

Using this setting you can add the person(agent) to whom the customer can contact. You can see all the agents and can also create new contact(agent).

Navigate to Dashboard > > Easy Property Listings > > Contacts.

Add New Contact

  • Summary - Enter summary of the contact.
  • First Name - Enter first name.
  • Last Name - Enter last name.
  • Email - Enter the Email address here.
  • Phone - Enter the official contact number.
  • Create - Hit the button to create the contact.

When you hit the Create Button you will be redirected to the contact details page. Here you can add some additional information like professional details, social media details, etc.

Professional Details

  • Title - Enter the title.
  • Company - Enter the company name here.

Contact Details

  • Phone - This field shows the contact number which you have added during the contact creation. Using this setting you can add another contact number.
  • Email - This field shows the email address which you have added during the contact creation. Using this setting you can add another email address.
  • Website - Enter the URL of the website.

Social Networks

  • Facebook - Enter the facbook account URL.
  • Twitter - Enter the Twitter account URL.
  • Google Plus - Enter the Google Plus account URL.
  • Linked In - Enter the LinkedIn account URL.

Address

  • Street Number - Enter the street number.
  • Street Name - Enter the street name.
  • Suburb - Enter the suburb.
  • State - Enter the state name.
  • Postcode - Enter the Postcode.
  • Country - Enter the name of the country.

Author

  • Author - Enter the author information here.

Background Info

  • Background Info - Enter the description of the contact here.
  • Update - Hit the button to update all the contact details.

3.Real Estate Shortcodes

In these section you will learn and get information about the Shortcodes used for Real Estate Buisness niche of MOTOCOM theme.

3.1 Real Estate Shortcode

These are the basic shortcodes which comes with the theme.

3.1.1 Realestate Listing Slider

This shortcode is used to display property listings in a slider view.

General Settings

  • Post Type - Select the post type according to your business need. ( Property, Land, Rental, Rural, Commercial,Commercial Land, Business )
  • Number - Enter the number of slides.
  • Heading - Enter title here.
  • Description - Enter description here.

Design Option

  • Slide Per View - Select the number of slide per view.
  • Navigation - Using this option user can select the navigation type from the given five options (None, Arrows, Bullets, Fraction and Progress Bar ) and user will get the options accordingly in the color settings.
  • Autoplay - To enable the Autoplay option select the checkbox .
  • Autoplay Speed - User can adjust the speed of the autoplay. Speed will be in miliseconds like 1000 = 1s.
  • Loop - To enable the loop in the slider select the checkbox.
  • Active Bullet Color - This setting appears when you select bullet type in the navigation and you can change the active bullet color.
  • Inactive Bullet Color - This setting appears when you select bullet type in the navigation and you can change the inactive bullet color from this option.
3.1.2 Realestate Listing Search

This shortcode allows you to output your listings on your pages and posts .

Realestate Listing Search Settings

  • Post Type - Select the post type of listings.
  • Number - Enter the number of listing.
  • Style - Specify the style of the search to output ( Horizontal , Vertical) when enabled.
  • Property Status - Restrict the search to only return results that are the status you specify. To enable select the checkbox.
  • Property ID - If enabled specify the search by unique property ID.
  • Property Address - Specify the search by unique property address when enabled.
  • Suburb -Specify the search by unique suburb when enabled.
  • City - Specify the search by city taxonomy when enabled.
  • State - Specify the search by state when enabled.
  • Post Code - Specify the search by post/zip code when enabled.
  • Country - Specify the search by country when enabled.
  • Category - Specify the search by listing category when enabled.
  • Categories: Multi select - Specify the search by multiple listing categories when enabled.
  • Price - Specify the search by price to and from, if enabled.
  • Bed - Specify the search by bedrooms to and from if enabled.
  • Bath - Specify the search by bathrooms, when enabled.
  • Rooms - Specify the search by rooms. Default is unchecked
  • Car - Specify the search by parking spaces.
  • Land Area - Specify the search by land area.
  • Building Area - Specify the search by building area.
  • Other Search Options - Specify the search by other listing features.
  • Enable Margin From Top - To enable margin from the top select the checkbox.
3.1.3 Properties Listing

This shortcode is used to display the property listing on pages and posts.

Properties Listings Settings

  • Post Type - Select the post type of listings.
  • Number - Enter the number of listing.
  • Template Style - Select the template style to use when outputting the listings ( Slim, Table, Table Open ).
  • Sort By - You can sort the listings by selecting any one option between ( Price, date, Satus, Random).
  • Sort Order - You can sort the listings either in ASC or DESC order.
  • Featured - Select the enable option to display the featured listings.
  • Status - Specify the listing on the basis of choosen status ( Current, Sold, Leased ).
  • Location - Select the location of the listings.
  • Pagination - To enable pagination select the checkbox.
  • Tools Option Top - To enable tools option top select the checkbox.
  • Tools Option Bottom - To enable tools option bottom select the checkbox.
3.1.4 Listing By Category

This shortcode allows you to output a list of listings by categories on your pages or posts.

  • Post Type - Select the post type of listings.
  • Number - Enter the number of listing.
  • Template Style - Select the template style to use when outputting the listings ( Slim, Table, Table Open ).
  • Sort By - You can sort the listings by selecting any one option between ( Price, date, Satus, Random).
  • Sort Order - You can sort the listings either in ASC or DESC order.
  • Status - Specify the listing on the basis of choosen status ( Current, Sold, Leased ).
  • Location - Select the location of the listings.

3.1.5 Listing Open

By using this shortcode, you can output all your properties that have an open for inspection time.

  • Post Type - Select the post type of listings.
  • Number - Enter the number of listing.
  • Template Style - Select the template style to use when outputting the listings ( Slim, Table, Table Open ).
  • Sort By - You can sort the listings by selecting any one option between( Price, date, Satus, Random).
  • Sort Order - You can sort the listings either in ASC or DESC order.
  • Pagination - To enable pagination select the checkbox.
  • Tools Option Top - To enable tools option top select the checkbox.
  • Tools Option Bottom - To enable tools option bottom select the checkbox.
3.1.6 Listing By Location

This shortcode outputs all your properties that have specific location.

  • Pagination - To enable pagination select the checkbox.
  • Tools Option Top - To enable tools option top select the checkbox.
  • Tools Option Bottom - To enable tools option bottom select the checkbox.

4. Widgets

The Real Estate niche of MOTOCOM Theme includes several additional widgets.You can access all the widgets in the Widgets section of the wordPress admin. Using Easy Property Listing widget you can quickly setup featured listings that dynamically change saving you hours of custom query coding or needing separate plugins.

Some additional widgets of the real estate niche are described below.

  • EPL - Author - Add an Author profile to a sidebar. It supports multiple authors.
  • EPL - Contact Form - Add contact form to a sidebar.
  • EPL - Listing - Listing widget have options for image size, order, random, status and more and it adds listing to a sidebar.
  • EPL - Listing Gallery - Display listing image gallery.
  • EPL - Listing Search - This listing search widget contains price range, locations, bedroom type search and many more.

5. Property Settings

The Property Panel comes with the plugin Easy Property Plugin. It consist of the settings which enable you to add new property listings, and customize the existing listings.

Navigate to Dashboard > > Property

5.1 All Listings

This section display all the properties along with price, features, image, etc.

5.2 How to Add New Listing

In this section you will get the information for adding a new listing.

5.2.1 Title & Description

Add suitable title and description for your listings.

5.2.2 Listing Details

Listings Details

  • Heading - Enter heading of the listing.

Listing Agents

  • Office ID - Enter the office ID here.
  • Listing Agent - Search primary agent. The primary agent is the post Author.
  • Second Listing Agent - If the listing has two real estate agents marketing it, enter second agent name here.
  • Hide Author Box - To select the Author Box select the checkbox.

Listing Type

  • Property Status - Select the property status.
  • Authority - Select the authority according to the need.
  • House Category - Select category of house.
  • Date Listed - Enter the date on which you enable listing.
  • Unique ID - Enter property ID here.
  • XML Importer Mod Date - Select XML Importer Mod Date.

Display Details

  • Inspection Times - Select the your inspection date and time from here.
  • Featured Listing - To enable the featured listing select the checkbox.
5.2.3 Listing Features

House Features

Enter the various features of the house like Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Toilet, Carport, Rooms, etc according to the requirement.

Land Details

Enter the land details like land area, building area, energy rating, etc according to the need.

5.2.4 Additional Features

Select the various internal, external and heating & cooling features as needed.

5.2.5 Files and Links

Enter the Video URL , some external links and floor plan here.

5.2.6 Property Address

Using this setting enter the address details of property.

  • Display Street Address - To display street address select the checkbox.
  • Unit - Enter unit.
  • Street Number - Enter street number of property.
  • Street Name - Enter street name of property.
  • Suburb - Enter suburb of property.
  • State - Enter state of property.
  • Post Code - Enter postal code.
  • Country - Enter the name of the country.
  • Coordinates - Enter the coordinates.
  • Hide Map - To hide map select the checkbox.
5.2.7 Pricing, Linked Contact, Featured Image

Pricing

  • Search Price - Enter the price which can be used to search.
  • Price Text - Enter the price text here.
  • Auction Date - Select the date of Auction.
  • Display Price? - Select the checkbox, if you want to display price.
  • Under Offer - Select the checkbox, to show under offer label on the property.
  • House and Land Package - Select the checkbox, to enable house and land package.

Sale Details

  • Sale Price - Enter the sale price.
  • Sale Date - Select the date when you want to sell the property.

Linked Contact

  • Contact ID - Enter the name of the contact and you will get the ID of that contact.

    • Note - To add contact Navigate To > Dashboard > Easy Property Listing > Contacts.

Featured Image

  • Set Featured Image - Hit the link to set the featured image.

5.3 Suburbs

In this section you will get the information for adding new suburbs

  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Property > Suburb
  2. Enter name, slug and description of the suburb.
  3. Click on Add New Suburb button.
5.4 Features

To add new feature follow the given below steps.

  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Property > Features
  2. Enter name, slug and description of the features.
  3. Click on Add New Feature button.
